We have one shipping option, with tracking number. You also have the option of collecting free of charge at listed locations and special events.
Door to Door Courier – R50 (usually 2 working days – only available in selected areas – we will contact you to make alternate arrangements if the courier is unable to deliver to your area – please ensure someone is at the delivery address to sign for the package)
Orders are processed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This usually means that all orders are processed and shipped within 2 working days of payment being received.
Whilst we are unable to guarantee that your order will be sent out the next day, we will commit to doing our best to send it out the following day, provided that full payment was received for your order (please see the terms and conditions for more details regarding payment). As we do not sell stock that we don’t have, there should be no unnecessary delays in getting your order shipped as soon as possible.
Long orders (>30 named cards) or orders with special requests take longer to process, and may result in delays in shipping. Also there will, on occasion, be delays beyond our control, due to factors such as public holidays, courier dispatch schedules and other unpredictable factors. We do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but we’re unable to guarantee that it’ll arrive on any given day.
We get asked on occasion to combine shipping on two or more orders. We generally try and avoid this due to the complexities that are associated with getting the orders processed, but will try and assist where possible. If we do assist with combining orders, it would be entirely at the risk of the customer and if for some reason the orders are not combined, it would be the customer’s responsibility to either pay for the second shipping or to arrange for collection. Orders will only be combined if they are placed on the same day and paid on the same day. As such we encourage our customers to ensure that the order they place is complete and includes all the cards they require in order to avoid the need for combined orders.
Products will only be shipped after the official release date for those products.
In cases where pre-order items and other items are placed on the same order, shipping will be delayed until all products are ready to be shipped. If you would like to separate deliveries, please place two separate orders and pay shipping per delivery.
We currently only ship to locations within South Africa.
Sad Robot is an online store only. We have an arrangement with selected physical stores that enables us to allow collections at those stores. Please check the rules pertaining to the venue you wish to collect from for order cut-off times and collection arrangements.
We have a few collection points across the country. Orders will be ready for collection the Friday after the order was placed, provided that it is placed and paid in full before noon on Tuesday, orders placed and/or paid after noon on Tuesday will only be available for collection on the second Friday after that Tuesday.
(DeeTwenty orders used to be cut-off on Wednesdays, but this process was changed to coincide with the other collection locations from Tuesday 14 July 2015)
